Brand Creation and Launch

Outdoorsy is a peer-to-peer platform that connects RV owners with travellers seeking freedom, adventure, and the open road — bringing the sharing-economy model to recreational travel.

We were engaged to create the brand name, visual identity, and digital experience for launch — including the website and mobile app for reservations and bookings. From strategy to design, our goal was to capture the joy of spontaneous travel and position Outdoorsy as the go-to destination for everything RV-related.

The name “Outdoorsy” embodied the brand’s spirit — adventurous yet approachable, playful yet purposeful. We developed a visual and verbal identity that extended across every touchpoint in the customer journey: digital platforms, social media, email marketing, event activations, vehicle branding, photography, and content. Each expression reinforced the same message — that the outdoors is open to everyone.

Since its inception, Outdoorsy has become the leading RV rental brand in the United States, synonymous with road trips, community, and modern nomadic living.

Not bad for a name and tagline conceived on a train ride home from Sydney one afternoon.
